The renowned Falstaff magazine once again hosted its Sparkling Wine Trophy. The jury report states…
“Solid foam accompanies the rich golden ‘Sparkler’. The aroma combines ripe, exotic notes with a slight autolysis tone and wood spice. The palate then reports equally rich tones, slight sweetness and a ‘vintage’ sparkling wine character.”

The tasting jury was made up of a Master of Wine as well as wine academics, qualified sommeliers and experienced trade experts. The jury met for three days at Del Fabro Kolarik in Vienna 11 to evaluate the entries for this first major German-language drinks award, which focuses exclusively on products with an alcohol content of 0.5% by volume or less. Our “Austrian Sparkling Rosé” was awarded the silver medal in the “De-alcoholised Sparkling Wines & PetNats Rosé” category.

At the “De-alcoholised Trophy 2025” by Falstaff, our Sparkling Rosé was able to impress and – after the “Austrian Zero Award” at the beginning of this year – once again establish itself among the top Austrian non-alcoholic providers. “91 points is a nice award for our premium sparkling wine and proof that our new rosé sparkling wine has not only pleased our customers, but also the expert jury at Falstaff,” emphasises ADrinks Managing Director Jürgen Kessler. “After 89 points for its predecessor, it is also a reward for the development of our sparkling wine range and provides motivation for the exciting developments that are still to come”.

There is good news at the start of 2025. ADrinks takes over the THE zero brand from Alpdrinks. “By founding ADrinks and taking over the THE zero brand, we are making a statement. It is a clear commitment to the rapidly growing global demand for innovative non-alcoholic beverages,” emphasises Jürgen Kessler, Managing Director and co-owner of ADrinks. “Our focus is on the distribution of high-quality non-alcoholic beverages – especially our de-alcoholised sparkling wines and THE zero brand wines. We want to build on our good starting position in our home market of Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the neighbouring countries (with Kurs market leadership) and continue to expand internationally.

It was full house at the iFlow reception in the G3 shopping centre in Gerasdorf. Founded by two former ski guides from the Arlberg, iFlow is now an internationally established company that even outfits the ÖTV Davis Cup team led by Dominik Thiem and Sebastian Ofner. And so it was no surprise that so many guests accepted iflow’s invitation.

THEZERO sweetened the evening with iFlow creator Thomas Ebster with Veronika Nadvornikova, Miss Europe 2021 Beatrice Körmer, national keeper Michael Konsel, former champion Peter Stöger, Rene Bartenbach (RB immoinvest) and Lzi Görgl, who not only showed off her skiing skills on the specially installed “ski band”, but also brought her own song with her.
